Session from 19 January to 2 February 2026, at the men’s and women’s monasteries in Dzogbégan (Togo)

Every two years, the major French-speaking monastic superiors of West Africa organise a session for Formators.
The theme of the next session will be: ‘Communication in the school of St. Benedict in Africa.’
Twenty formators will participate, from 19 monasteries in six countries: Burkina Faso, Benin, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Togo, and Guinea Conakry. Four speakers will talk on: ‘Modern communication tools’, ‘Non-violent communication’, ‘How values were communicated in our African traditions’, ‘Facilitating dialogue with the Rule of St. Benedict’.
Financial assistance would be needed to cover travel and accommodation costs.
