ABOUT ALLIANCE INTERMONASTÈRES

Os estatutos da AIM foram elaborados em 1966 e revisados em 1996, 2002 e 2003 e submetidos ao Conselho e ao Congresso de Abades para aprovação em 2004. Em 2025, foram redigidos novos estatutos, refletindo uma maior fraternidade entre as comunidades das três ordens monásticas (OSB, OCist, OCSO).

Historical

The Inter-Monastery Alliance has existed since 1961. During the sixty-three years that have passed since then, many events have occurred in the life of the monasteries founded in this period. AIM has therefore adapted to the needs of the communities, it has moved from the status of a mutual aid structure to that of an Alliance between all the houses of the Benedictine Family throughout the world.
