Scholarships for seven sisters

Project 3726 : Congregation of Sisters of Oshikuku (Namibia)

Scholarships for seven sisters

The Oshikuku congregation was founded in 1932 by a young Namibian woman.

The congregation has more than a hundred sisters. They are involved in various ministries among the poor: teaching, healthcare, running boarding schools, and a school for young mothers and girls (training in sewing, cooking, computer skills, English, horticulture, etc.). Some sisters are involved in pastoral work: catechism, outreach to young people and women, and care for orphans and vulnerable children.

Project

Sister Kristofina, Sr. Saara, Sr. Teresia, Sr. Lahya, Sr. Josefina, and Sr. Sevelina are in formation at St. Faith Tutorial College in Oshikuku. Financial assistance is needed for tuition fees.

Total amount: €8,034.
