Formation for five brothers

Projects 3790, 3791, 3792, 3793, 3794: Benedictine Monks of Mont Fébé (Cameroon)

Scholarships for five brothers

The monastery of Mont Fébé was founded in 1964 by monks from Engelberg Abbey (Switzerland). The monastery is part of the Swiss Benedictine congregation.

The monks run a technical training centre for carpentry, open to young people who wish to acquire this skill (three-year training course).

They manage a large guest centre that welcomes priests, religious and groups, and also own a house (Saint-Benoît de Kribi, by the sea) that offers a place to rest and relax.

They have set up a health centre with a medical analysis laboratory.

The brothers have created an agro-pastoral complex and a fish farm on land 50 km from the monastery.

The monastery has a museum of African art which is very popular with lovers of ancient and contemporary art.

The brothers also have a shop.
