Formation for two sisters at Catholic Institute of Port Harcourt



The monastery of Umuoji was founded in 1978 by the Abbey of St John the Baptist in Rome. It was elevated to the rank of abbey in 1993. The community comprises about 80 sisters. The community has founded two other monasteries, one in Nigeria (Ozubulu) and the other in Angola (Nostra Senhora di Caminho).


Projects

Sister Rita and Sister Angela are studying canon law and liturgy at the Catholic Institute of West Africa in Port Harcourt. Financial assistance is needed to cover expenses (tuition, studies, food, etc.).
