Sr. Maria Immaculata Maierhofer O.Cist was elected as the third Abbess of Marienfeld.
Sr. Immaculata was largely responsible for setting up the parament workshop in Marienfeld and is a very conscientious sacristan.
She was born on December 19, 1956 in Goldgeben, NÖ, and made her solemn profession on October 13, 1979.
